Agricultural Security Committee
Agricultural Security Board is composed of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. This board reviews petitions that are submitted to modify land in the township’s agricultural security area. Reviews are conducted during a public hearing at which individuals wishing to modify the current agricultural security area may submit proposed modifications, such as the inclusion of new properties.
Agricultural Security Areas are a tool for protecting our farms and farmland from of non-agricultural uses.
